- Waist: Measure around the natural waistline.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat.
- Inseam: Measure from the crotch along the inside of the leg to the desired hem.
Comparing garment measurements: Lay a similar item that fits well flat without stretching it. Measure underarm to underarm for chest width, across the waistband for waist width, and from the highest shoulder point to the hem for top or dress length.
